Authority of Scripture - Acts 2 Network members are committed to ensuring the Bible is their final authority in all issues of belief and behavior (2 Timothy 3:16; John 1:1).
Community - Acts 2 Network members believe that community is one of the Lord's highest values; i.e. community with Christ first, and then with fellow followers of Christ. (Mark 9:36-37; 1 John 3:16; John 17:21) They believe in celebrating the diversity of a community comprised of people from every walk of life and background (Revelation 5:9-10).
Team Excellence - Acts 2 Network members believe God deserves our best efforts. They believe that is only possible in a teamwork environment (Exodus 18; Nehemiah 3. They believe God blesses integrity; i.e. the integration of life's values with life styles (Deuteronomy 28:1-3, 28:15; John 8:31-34).
Shared Leadership - Acts 2 Network members are committed to an organic network connected relationally, not politically (Titus 3:1-11; 1 Peter 5:1-5). They believe in gift-based leadership (Romans 12:3-11; Ephesians 4:11-16) and a balance between authority and responsibility (1 Corinthians 12:18-21).
Technology - Acts 2 Network members believe that cutting-edge technology is intended by God to be a tool for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. They do not believe that technology is an end in itself, but should be utilized in creative ways to fulfill the vision and mission. (Matthew 24:14)
Worship - Acts 2 Network members believe that intimacy with God is His ultimate goal for all people. Members value diversity in styles of worship, as long as it is in spirit and in truth. The goal of worship is to demonstrate the acts and attitudes of wholeheartedly giving yourself to God - spirit, soul, mind and body. (John 4:24, Mark 12:29-30)
Openness to new ideas - Acts 2 Network members believe that leaders are learners. They believe the message must be the eternal truth of God's Word but the methods, styles and strategies must be assessed and updated consistently (Isaiah 43:19; Philippians 3:13-14).
